Collin + Olivia Huntsman | Kentucky Wedding Photographer | Richardson Farms | Monticello, Kentucky
When I arrived to Richardson Farms in Monticello, Kentucky on the day before Olivia and Collin’s Wedding Day, my breath was taken away by the gorgeous scenery. The drive to Richardson Farms alone made me feel like I was in a painting. The rolling blue hills, wide open valleys, and (I feel like only Kentuckians will understand this one) the sunset!!!!!! There is nothing like a Kentucky Sunset if I do say so myself. Richardson Farm was the perfect place for Collin and Olivia to say their “I do’s”. The pictures speak for themselves. This venue is gorgeous!
I value marriage. Everything marriage should be, everything that it can be, and if you care for it, everything will be. A wedding is the very start to a marriage. and having these moments captured in time to treasure for years and generations is such an important thing to have. What an incredible honor it is to take part in capturing Olivia and Collin’s memories of their wedding day.
Olivia was one of the most chilliest brides I have ever met. Her hair and makeup looked perfect, the dress looked as if it was designed just for her, and her excitement and love for Collin was everything! A few tears were shed as her mother and her shared a special moment as they put on the wedding dress. Her bridesmaids and mother in law all watched with amazing smiles and tear filled eyes from the doorway of the bridal room. The love was everywhere! It was such an amazing site to witness.
Collin is truly Olivia’s soul mate because once I left the women to go check on the men, he was just as relaxed as she was. It was apparent that this was meant to be for them and they were both more than ready to be connected through the bond of marriage. The whole day was perfect. It wasn’t to hot and even though it was a little windy, it cooled the air around us so that it was a comfortable temperature. The sun set perfectly behind them as they said their vows. The food was unbelievable. Like I said, it was the perfect day.
There was a beautiful poem that was read during their hand washing ceremony that I wanted to add to this post:
The Wedding Ring
The sweetest story that’s ever been told
Lies in the slim circle of gold
Joining two people as husband and wife
To share in the joys and the sorrows of life
For richer or poorer – in sickness and health
Your marriage can yield up a wonderful wealth
Of memories to treasure and hopes to renew
All part of the promises made by you two
With faith in each other and love as your guide
As long as for ever, you’ll walk side by side
And the shining reminder of how much you care
Will lie in the little gold band that you wear

A HUGE shout out to the best second shooter! Taylor Reynold’s of TayReynolds Photography did an amazing job by my side and she captured some absolutely beautiful images of Olivia and Collin’s wedding day. There is only a select few for the blog out of so so so many she documented. Her kindness and love for others is not only inspiring but so humbling. Put those qualities and her photography skills together and there is nothing you couldn’t love about her. I adore everything about Taylor and look forward to working future weddings with her!!!
