 Photography Policies

It is assumed that all clients have familiarized themselves with Story Book Photography's policies and pricing prior to arriving for their appointment. 

All Sessions are held within the Pulaski County district . I am happy to travel and work with you on a location but a traveling fee will be added to the original price.

When booking a session, a non-refundable retainer fee is due (price depends on your session of choice). This marks your date on my calendar and works as a place holder even if we have to reschedule because of weather, emergency, etc. This is needed within 48 hours of booking your session. If this fee is not paid within the 48 hours given, the photographer will not be able to hold your spot. This fee is included with your session fee.

With weddings, we ask that you abide by the request of paying your payment total in 3 different payments when they’re due, rather than all at once or scattered out. Sticking to this payment timeline helps us keep a better track and stay organized.

The session fees includes the time, equipment, and creative talent of the photographer as well as your finished product. Collections include communication with me prior to your session on location, lighting, timing, wardrobe, and special details you want captured during our time together. Also includes my travel time to/from location (within 30 minutes of zip code 42503), post processing with hand editing your gallery, personalized online viewing gallery, and access to the gallery’s online store. Sessions are around 60 to 90 minutes depending on the flow of your family / business. Your collection includes all of the best full size digital files with a print release.

Your session can be paid on the day of the session however payment must be received in full before the session begins. You may pay for your session with cash, check, or through PayPal or Venmo the time of your appointment. If using a check, please address it to India Tungate.

Refunds and discounts will not be given due to a clients failure to inquire about prices ahead of time.

I am an outdoor photographer and work with natural lighting. We can work together on choosing the perfect outdoor location for your story to be captured. I do offer lifestyle photography sessions which are typically held in the comfort of your home. I request that the room(s) have a open window(s) allowing natural light to flow through the room. I have Session Guides to help you prepare for these type of sessions. Feel free to message me and let me know. If you are looking for studio or posed styled work, I have several photographers that I can refer you too, just let me know.

(If you want to rent a studio for your session, message me and I will be happy to give you details on how we can do that. I have several locations we can use if you want to book with me & have an indoor studio to use. ONE DAY I will have a studio of my own, but as of right now I do not and I apologize for the inconvenience.)

The best time to capture that perfect lighting is one to two hours before sunset or if you are an early bird, 30 minutes after sunrise. I will be happy to help guide you through and pick the best time that will work for you.

If you’ve booked a session, you’ll receive the rights of ordering prints, canvases, etc through the online gallery you receive in your email. I am also happy to help you with recommendations on the best places for printing. I prefer that my clients do not order/print from drugstores ( Walmart, Walgreens, etc). Sadly, they’re prone to printing with lower resolution causing blurriness and off-coloring. If you want some recommendations on the best places to print your photos with affordable prices, please message me & I’d be happy to give you some trusted sources. Also you can order prints through the online gallery that I will send to you with your finished photos. If you want more details, please email me I am always happy to help.

All photos have been perfected and edited with my style and are not permitted to be re-edited or added with filters. I will fix things such as blemishes, flyaways, small stains (small quantities) but I do-not distort or change anything permanent such as body shapes, etc.

I always give an estimated time to each client on when to expect arrival of their photos. Until the full amount of time has been reached, please refrain from contacting me asking for a status on your photos. It should be understood that I am also a Homeschool Teacher to my babies, as well as working full time with this business where I have numerous sessions, weddings, etc to edit. I promise to keep you informed. Thank you for understanding.

Sessions are received through an online and downloadable gallery. Weddings are received by a custom delivery including a USB of all edited images.
Once your session is finished, you'll receive an email to view your online gallery. I allot this amount of time to put my whole heart and creativity into every detail of your session. You will receive a download pin to your gallery which will be available for 30 days after delivery. Make sure to save your images somewhere safe! Want those photos faster? I offer an option to bump your session to the top of my editing que for $50. I also offer USB’s for $30.

I do backup my images on a hard drive. Sessions keep for 6 months and Weddings keep for a year.

I do not deliver RAW image files to my clients. All of the images delivered to you will be hand edited and in a high resolution file.

There is no rescheduling fee if and only if: India has a personal issue to come up and is having to reschedule for her own reasons, the weather prevents for us to have a session, or if it is your very first time having to reschedule for an appointment. There will be a rescheduling fee of $30.00 for any additional cancellations. Your first one is free but any after will be charged for. Thank you for understanding.
