When it comes to true love, it has a way of creating a unique connection between two people, one that is much bigger than what we can see. It has it’s own vibrant life, an individual and invisible color and song. I am always so fascinated by this connection and how an image turns a fleeting moment into a trapdoor of rediscovery, taking the couple back to the simple beauty and emotion of the moment.

From the very second that I first met with Victoria and Jacob, the love that shined in their eyes for one another was proof enough to me that these two belonged together. Their love story and how they met melted my heart right along with learning about their family and friends and plans for their big day.

Once their day was here, I woke up feeling so jittery with excitement. I love the “It’s Wedding Day” feeling! The I Do At The Barn venue in Richmond fit them perfectly. The elegant decor, the gorgeous barn inside and out, and even the horses in the background just seemed to be the perfect place for them to become husband and wife. This was my second wedding here at the venue and each time has been such a wonderful experience. Debbie and her crew go above and beyond to make sure everything and everyone is taken care of. I will always recommend them for a venue!

From the tight friendships, the loving and welcoming family, the ceremony, the amazing acoustic music, and delicious food, ya’ll this wedding couldn’t had been more perfect. I left the venue that evening with a huge smile on my face. These photos reflect such a beautiful day full of love and happiness. Moments like these are what tug at my heart strings and remind me of why I love what I do.
