The Truewalker Family | Life’s a Garden, Dig It | Standford, KY

I first met Courtney in - I think it was 2019 (correct me if I’m wrong Court.) when she wanted a sweet session with her (now) oldest son Novah She made my dreams come true with an intimate motherhood session which is where we focus on connection, skin to skin, & the rawness of motherhood. It meant the world to me that she felt comfortable with me to capture such precious moments & I looked up to her ways of mothering. She is incredible you guys!

Fast forward, we have got to do a fun family session at a beautiful park in Standford, Ky, an intimate maternity session in her home, a lifestyle newborn with her newest addition Hudson, & now a fun session in their garden. Each time I am just wowed by their love, their attentiveness, their lifestyle - basically they’re just amazing all around. And I’m so so honored to help this family document these special moments.

I’m even more grateful for a friendship that blossomed in the breathtaking way that God does so often with this business of mine. He has brought me some of my most cherished friendships. These photos are such a great reminder of that! So The Truewalker Family, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. You are SO loved!

Let’s talk about this Garden Session! It was a dream. This was my first year attempting a garden myself, which is in 4 small raised beds, so witnessing their large & thriving garden made my homesteader heart SO Happy! The family picked vegetables, sniffed flowers, captured the Sunflowers before they were completely gone, played in mud, & most of all - made some epic memories.

We finished our time together in a sink bath & lots of splashing & giggles. These photo’s - they not only reflect this loving family but it captured my heart behind Story Book Photography! Real moments, Authentic Love, Memory making photographs that you know these kids will cherish when they’re older!

So if you’ve seen this gallery & think “I’d love photographs like these?” Please message it! It would mean the world to me!
