Kentucky Family Photographer | Motherhood Session | The Roberts Girls

Ya’ll……. how beautiful is this Mama and her daughter’s? Like they belong in a magazine!!!!!!!!! I always have the funnest time working with the Roberts and this session was such a special one. There is something magical when it comes to helping a mama document her motherhood journey. What an honor it was to capture these moments for Sarah and her girls to treasure for years to come. I asked Sarah if she had anything she would like to share about her own personal motherhood journey and advice for future or new mothers. I think what she had to share was absolutely perfect!!!!! This is what she had to share:

I guess I would say that there’s no such thing as a “perfect” mom. It’s okay to strive for improvement, but God hand picked us to be the exact mother that our children need. I have learned to let go a little. Messes are okay, disagreements are okay, and having feelings is normal. It’s learning to work through these situations that produces healthy adults. I think. We’re still a work in progress. I am so thankful for our village. We don’t have family close by, but our friends and neighbors have become like family. Find your village, love them, and accept help when you need it.
