Kentucky Engagement Photographers | Upchurch Proposal | Heffelfinger Tree Farm |Tay + Indy

You guys! We are on cloud 9 with what we got to take part of tonight at a local Christmas tree farm named Heffelfinger Tree Farm with one of the most crazy talented videographers in Kentucky, Mr. Dalton Upchurch!

Taylor of Tay Reynolds Photography (Ya’ll know my BFF!) and Dalton has been talking back and fourth for weeks now, trying to plan this perfect proposal for his gorgeous girlfriend, Breanna Tucker. His plans were incredible but as life likes to have it, things didn’t go exactly as planned but worked out for the best.

When Taylor asked me if I could help her capture this secret engagement I was beyond thrilled! I mean, duh! Of course I was so honored to even had been asked to help with something so absolutely amazing! She is seriously the best you guys! So huge huge huge credits to Taylor for helping plan everything out & adding me into the mix. We love having opportunities to work more together and in 2020 we want to make that happen!

When Dalton & Breanna arrived to the Tree Farm, we had just a few minutes of sunlight left & it was perfect. Dalton looked a little nervous which was so sweet & Breanna had no clue! She was just ready to have some Christmas Tree Farm photos taken, not even aware that such a special moment was about to happen. The day your future husband proposes to you, it’s a day you will never ever forget. So hiring a professional to photograph/video your special moment is worth the investment. Let me tell you why.

The Love of Your Life Will Thank You. These are moments that you will never get again and for that reason alone, it makes it that much more meaningful to have these moments captured to be treasured for always.

The Photos Are Great for Announcements. Having a beautiful photo to use to announce your engagement is so much fun! And again, can be just another keepsake and remembrance of the day you decided to spend your life with your soulmate.

You Can Turn the Moment into an Engagement Session. Like, how awesome is that! Bam, engagement photos are already done within 30 minutes of you getting engaged. Check that off your list and show off how cute you all are together in this once in a life time moment.

The Proposal is a Part of Your Story Together. And documenting your story is SO very important. Marriage is a process and there are a lot of steps to get there. The friendship, the dating, the proposal, the engagement and the wedding are all steps to getting married. These steps are all important pieces to your love story, so why not capture each and every one of them?

Most couples prefer for their proposal to happen in a private and intimate setting with just the two of them. However, they still want to allow their close family and friends to feel involved. Hiring a photographer to capture the moment can help you keep the moment private while still sharing the experience with family and friends after your significant other says, “Yes!”

No filter…on emotions. Some people don’t like having surprise photos taken of them, but there is nothing like candid photos that capture raw, unfiltered surprise on camera when it’s a moment you want to remember. Hiring a photographer for your proposal will guarantee that this special experience. Especially if you have a team of two photographers.

It was so nice having Taylor and I work together because we were able to capture both Dalton and Breanna’s reaction and both are so important when capturing a moment like this. We provided with multiple angles and our own unquie tastes to documenting this moment for them. It just worked so so well & we highly recommend considering two photographers for the job.

Professional Quality. I know how smart phones have changed the world with their high-tech cameras now and days, but there is still nothing like the quality of a professional camera. But in the Photography world, we know it isn’t just about the camera. It’s about the artist behind that camera and how they choose to capture and tell a story; your story. That quality is so important.
